Mr Tan Beng Wee
An old boy of Vicoria School, Mr. Tan's involvement in the school band dates back to 1972, when he first joined as a member of the Victoria School Millitary Band. His four years in the band set the path towards his passion for music training, he gained his experinece through performing with various orchestras.
A French Horn player, Mr. Tan was a member of the Singapore Youth Orchestra between 1974 and 1977. From 1967 to 1977, he played with the Singapore Philharmonic Orchestra. As a young adult, he continued his musical training by joining the Republic of Singapore Air Force Band where he remained for four years.
In 1982, Mr. Tan rejoined Victoria School Military Band, this time as a part-time instructor and saw its transformation into a concert band. His elevation to become its conductor in 1991 was a well-deserved one, for during his fourteen years in the band, he closely shared its glories and tribulations, and has shown many amateur bandsman the way to fine music making.

The band members look up to her as a caring and fun loving teacher and appreciate what she has done for the band. Thank you!

Miss Jennifer Koh
Just joining the band in year 2002, Miss Koh has done a wonderful job so far after Mrs Chia left. The band members will always support her!

Mr. Anuar Ikhwan
Mr. Anuar has been with the band for many years. A former band member himself, he gives the band members the encouragement and support they need. Always an important part of the band, the band members respect and look up to him as a caring and understanding person.
Teachers that have left us:
Mrs. Chia Siew Ching
Joining the band a few years back, Mrs. Chia took over the job of Ms Ng who had left the school for Raffles Instituition. As a responsible, caring and nice teacher, she is always there for us whenever we need her. Although she has now left the band to join another school, she will always be in the hearts of all victorians.
